These mics were barely used at a studio in NYC then sat in a mic closet for two years. I used them the other day for overheads on a DW drum set they sound incredible. I also use these for various instruments. Percussion Violin Broadcasting Radio shows They don't have there original box but a box for these mics is easy to fabricate or make. And also relatively inexpensive. They come with two shock mounts only So that's two mics and two shock mounts C414 xls's Happy shopping
