X-PLORER (DSXRCHCW1, EXPLORER '76 REISSUE, built in 2004, Classic White) - offset hourglass mahogany body/neck, pickguard, 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot inlay, tune-o-matic bridge/stop tailpiece, blackface peghead with pearl logo inlay, six-on-a-side tuners, chrome hardware, (the two ceramic 496R and 500T magnet humbuckers are included, but have been replaced with a Dimarzio DP 153 "Fred" humbucker on the bridge, and a Dimarzio DP 193 "Air Norton" at neck position), two volume/one tone controls (a split coil, push-pull pot has been installed on the bridge pick-up volume knob), three-position switch, Classic White (CW) not available anymore. This is a perfectly balanced guitar with really low action, versatile sounds with splitpot, humbucking/single coil Dimarzio pick-ups that cost about $80 to $90 each. Original 496R and 500T pick-ups included also along with original pot, 12 years old in brand-new condition with original Gibson case in brand-new condition. I hate to sell it, but want to buy my wife a nice gift for Christmas. Original Gibson-factory signed inspection card and warranty card included with pick-up installation invoice from 2005. I pay shipping in the U.S. only.
