Here's a very clean Gibson GA30 amp from 1953. Gotta love the 2 tone covering and vintage vibe!Think about it. This amp sold at the same time as the original goldtop Les Pauls and blackguard Telecasters. It is amazing that something this old can be in such nice condition.Very clean, inside and out. (See internal pics). These amps are typically in much rougher cosmetic condition, since the outer covering is not as durable as tweed or tolex. The control panel is in great condition with very little wear or rust. (These are normally really scratched up with rust everywhere).Internally, as you can see from the pics, it is spic and span. No webs or dead creatures. Really clean.The input jack has been replaced, as well as the ac cord (replaced with a 3 prong grounded cable for safety).Speakers are the original Jensens and are dated to 1952. They sound great with no issues.The amp sounds spectacular, either with a nice tubey clean sound or when cranked for natural tube overdrive. The "sound expander" switch does not seem to do anything. The microphone input is great for higher gain, while the other inputs are suitable for cleaner tones. The 2 volume controls are interactive like a tweed Fender Deluxe, so there are a variety of tones.You can certainly find more ratty examples that need servicing for less money. This is a great amp from Gibson's golden era that is ready to play. A cool companion for your vintage Gibson or Fender.Payment Terms:Payment due within 3 days of sale.
