Epiphone Riviera EA250This beautiful guitar was made in Japan in 1970/1 and is a Riviera EA250 model. The body is in a really nice red with darker red around the edges and with full body binding as wellas soundhole, neck and headstock binding. It has two humbuckers with black surrounds each withvolume and tone controls plus a three-way pickup selector switch. The bridge is a tune-o-maticon a wooden base and the tailpiece is a great looking chrome model which is not original. However, I have the original tremolo tailpiece with spring and screws (see last picture) so itcan be put back to original very easily. The maple neck is bolted on and the neckplate contains the serial number - the fingerboardis rosewood and contains twenty-one frets all good; and the headstock has the ''Epiphone''logo, truss rod cover and three on a side original tuners. The scratchplate is missing but could be replaced; and there are one or two tiny marks on itonly and a couple of very faint lacquer lines on the back. This is a fabulous guitar and comes in an excellent fitted non original hardcase.
