1966 Fender Telecaster BlondeNice Telly from late 66, CBS era, Ash body and maple neck with rosewood fretboard. Original For Fender export hard case with ash tray and coil cord.The previous owner probably started a mad project to install 2 Gibson humbucker on it, he had enlarged pickup routes but, fortunately, he changed his idea and returned to original parts and scheme...I could not leave body as is, so I restored it in my Lab with ash wood and restored the original pickup route shapes...
Restoring job is under the pickguard and nothing is visible (see the pics before/after job).Apart from that restoration, guitar is in perfect shape and all original... it has original medium jumbo frets,on very dark indian rosewood fretboard, original Fender decal lost "TELECASTER" and pat no. due to cleaning (but they are partially visible under black light, see pic), nitro clear coat on the back of the neck is partially gone and neck is much speed to play, blonde finish on the body still in good condition.
Bridge Pickup is pencil date to Sep. 19, 1966, pots are 17th weeks of 1966, neck date is March 66.
