Up for your consideration is a beautiful made in Japan 2005 Ibanez Team J Craft Prestige RG1570 in Mirage Blue. It has a few light paint chips along the edges, but it plays and sounds awesome. It is from my personal guitar collection and hope someone else will be able to enjoy playing it too. These Ibanez Team J Craft Prestige guitars receive extra attention to detail from the factory in Japan. This guitar has no cracks in the neck pocket areas at all or anywhere else on the entire guitar for that matter. The fit, finish, hardware and build quality of “Team J Craft” guitars are stunning. It is equipped with a fantastic Ibanez “Prestige Wizard” profile, 5 piece laminated walnut and maple neck. This 24 fret neck has nice big jumbo frets and a rosewood fingerboard with factory rolled edges; for that “worn-in/custom-shop” feel. The frets are in really nice shape, very little wear and the truss rod works fine. If you’ve never played one of these, you should; they’re fast, comfortable and a lot of fun! The locking tremolo is the “Edge Pro” and it is an outstanding unit. The guitar is also equipped with a pair of the DiMarzio Ibanez humbucking pickups that grab harmonics all over the neck and sound great. All the Gotoh hardware and the tuners are “Cosmo Black” and in very nice shape. It is set up with D’Addario 10-46 strings: it plays like butter. This guitar feels really good, sounds awesome and tunes up like a champ. It is much more than just another guitar; it’s a beast! Rather than going on and on about how awesome this RG1570 guitar is, I believe the pictures do show the excellent quality & nice condition of this guitar; just look at them real close and you be the judge. I have an old Ibanez case for it (not pictured). It’s not very pretty, but it will protect it in the mail a lot better than a gig bag can.
