For sale is an absolutely stunning acoustic guitar from Gibson's Bozeman, MT plant. This is the new Hummingbird Vintage, designed to feel and sound like a true 1960 Hummingbird, it is a very faithful nod to one of Gibson's most enduring acoustic guitars. This is truly an incredible acoustic guitar, with a very sweet tone and huge projection. Tonally it is deep and very balanced, with sweet overtones and an incredibly pronounced bottom end. The guitar responds very well to pick attack, going from soft and subtle to booming and thunderous. As a player you'd be hard pressed to find a better guitar than this. The action is low and fast playing, at 1/16th"-5/64th" at the 12th fret treble to bass. This instrument was set up and inspected by our master luthier upon arrival. With a AAA-sitka spruce top, mah0gany back and sides, and finished in a heritage cherry sunburst it is a sight to behold. Cosmetically this guitar is in excellent condition, with some small signs of play wear such as small pick scratches on the pickguard and one hairline scratch on the top directly below the bridge (scratch too small to be seen in photographs). Included with this instrument is the original Gibson hardshell case. While it might not have to mojo and broken in tone as a true 1960 Gibson Hummingbird, this guitar is every bit as good (if not better) than the original, and will only get better in time. There is nothing like a good sounding Hummingbird, and this guitar will not disappoint.
