Paul Reid Smith McCarty - 1996 This guitar is in very good condition - a beautiful work of art befitting the standard you'd expect from Paul Reed Smith. The PRS McCarty is a truly iconic guitar - with these first generation being highly sought-after for their superior build quality . This is a great guitar - beautifully balanced and a joy to play. She's just been stripped / cleaned and serviced as per all my guitars prior to sale. • "Wide/fat" profile neck - signed "McCarty Model" on rear of headstock along with serial number • PRS compensated stop-tail bridge • PRS "McCarty" nickel covered humbuckers. This have aged beautifully - carrying some gentle patina and giving the guitar a great look. These would of course polish up "as new" should you wish to have that look. • PRS fitted hard case (good used condition)
• Complete with all case candy - hang-tag etc Guitar has no noticeable fretwear - one small mark to the bottom edge which I have photographed. A very minor point is that the "P" on the Paul Reed Smith headstock logo has disappeared somewhere during a string change - purely cosmetic and an easy fix following an email to PRS who can supply a replacement. These aren't under lacquer and on speaking to PRS Customer Ops (who are wonderful folks btw) is a common replacement request. **update - 23/11 I've arranged a new logo from PRS to be sent from their USA factory - this will come with the guitar / be sent to the buyer as soon as it arrives** Thanks for looking. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to send me a message.
