Beautiful 1987 Ovation Elite 1718 guitar.Serial number 363273. This is in very good shape and I was able to purchase it from the original owner. The person who owned it was a doctor who played first position chords, so the fretwear as depicted in the picture is confined to the first three frets. Nothing unusual for a 30 year old guitar.Neck set is perfect and the finish is beautiful. The only blemish is a hairline finish crack/check that is visible in photo 4. This model , along with several other non cutaway Elite models, were deemed "the wood top Adamas" The design incorporates all the features of the original Graphite top Adamas models but with a "AAA" grade solid spruce top.The guitar plays great, and really competes with an electric as far as comfort. Big booming tone that will cut through if you need alot of volume, but also sounds fantastic unplugged or playing a small gig. This ships in the original Ovation Hardshell case.Thanks for looking!
