God Bless and protect the good people of Tennessee. ---Someday I plan to turn LotusDrum itself into a charitable organization - providing drums to those who's stated charitable cause successfully reaches the necessary goals. This will mean no direct sales at all, only heartfelt and unifying motivations will be the accepted currency. ----About the drum - This one is special to me and is the inspiration for my upcoming Series, the theme of which will be, "Winter Weather".It's also the first of the Series, but the only one which will have the traditional Lotus Drum shape/design. For the others I will be straying from tradition and hope to invoke the feeling of a Snow Globe, capturing the season and maintaining it's arctic temperatures, throughout many summers.It's texture is that of a frozen stone and it shimmers and shines as such. (scroll down for a daylight video showing texture) (tonality video is on the way)The snow which fell on it's side doesn't seem to have come from the sky, maybe it watched a snowball battle ensue after being discovered under a Tree? I enjoy taking time away to express and create. Away from the manufacture of individual orders, both custom and standard. This is how ideas bloom and revitalize the soul.
I'm certainly open to offers within great range, as it's more about the drum and it's destiny. The last thing I'd ever want is for it to be neglected, unwanted or abused. It needs to be in the right home - where it will be enjoyed and shared with others.
Series are more about expression for me, an avenue for release and a personal meditation is experienced while they are made.
