Please note all our guitars are in stock at time of listing and are available to try by appointment prior to purchasing. This is an outstanding '59 Les Paul Standard Flametop Reissue from 2006. Being 10 years old now I'd say it was in superb condition with only light signs of being played. This guitar was hand selected for weight and looks by ourselves for it's authentic 50's looking book matched flame top with the guitar weighing only 8lbs 11oz. The guitars cherry back and sides are still strong and the Ice Tea Burst finish really shows off the flame top and it features a gorgeous dark brown fingerboard. The neck is straight and the frets are good. There is some discolouration to the neck binding which is perfectly normal on these guitars. Fairly large 59 neck profile that contributes to the very big sound which this guitar produces, giving tone for days. Low slinky action and a perfect neck angle on this one. Original desirable early 5 latch Lifton reissue brown hard shell case with Gibson certificate of authenticity included.
