This is a wonderful 1955 Gibson ES-140 3/4 guitar.  This guitar has an exceptionally rich mellow sound similar to the ES-5 and 350.  It was checked from top to bottom by "Guitar Centers" last week of November 2016.  There is no pick guard with this guitar.  I can only guess that the original owner didn't like the turtle shell look against the blonde finish.  The neck crack has been professionally repaired and checked Satisfactory by The Guitar Center.  The Grover Tuners and the Bridge are gold platted and acid tested 18 carat.   The case is original with a leather covered handle.  The case has had some hits but in good condition.  It comes from a smoke free environment.  My goal is to provide you an exceptional buying experience.
