Beautiful art deco early 1950s Kay K136 solid body electric guitar for sale. This was one of the earliest designs for a solid electric. The metallic green and cream colour scheme is fabulous as I hope the photos convey. This K136 is in full working order, with a straight neck and medium action. The only alterations are a re-fret that was essential for playability and I suspect the vintage style tuners are
replacements. The pancake pickup is original and great for blues and rock, with a versatile tone. The finish is generally excellent with only a couple of dings/scuffs shown in the photos. This is for the player and/or collector. A wonderful
historical piece from the States that needs a loving home as I am scaling back my collection. I don't want to risk posting this unique and rare guitar but will happily meet on the road halfway if need be or you're more than welcome to collect from my house. Comes with a period correct case.
