A sitka spruce top projects clear but warm highs, with a slightly more aged tone than sitka. Solid Indian Rosewood back and sides give a nice strong fundamental, along with the large bellied body shape which allows the low end to develop into a nice boom. The result is an almost orchestral hugeness that never gets out of hand. The A Vintage Sunburst top and ivoroid Heritage fretboard inlays add a nice Americana vibe to this fine instrument.
