For sale is my Gibson ES-137 electric guitar. It was crafted at the Gibson Custom Shop in Nashville, Tenn. Based on the 1st and 5th digits of the serial number, it was built in 2006.
It's a very nice blue color. I call it my Picasso Guitar and use it in my jazz and standards trio. It has been gigged. It sounds great and is easy to play. • Very well built for the price, is considered a more affordable version of the ES-175. It is quite similar to an ES-335.• Has the classic warm tone that is assoociated with Gibson Archtops.• Mahogany center block helps to reduce feedback and allows it to be played at he higher volumes than other comparable archtops. • Very versatile guitar, suitable for jazz as we well as rock, blues and other guitar styles. It is in very good to excellent condition. I purchased this guitar used a few years ago. I looked it over very closely prior to creating this eBay sale item. There are two little nicks on the guitar head. There is a picture of each nick.
