Up for your consideration is a new G&L Tribute ASAT Classic Bluesboy semi-hollow electric guitar in a blonde finish. This guitar features a semi-hollow swamp ash body with twin voice chambers, hard-rock maple neck with a medium C profile, and rosewood fingerboard with 22 medium-jumbo nickle frets. For pickups this guitar has a Paul Gagnon-designed AS4255C alnico humbucker in the neck position, and a Leo Fender-designed MFD single coil in the bridge position. Controls are the standard 3-position selector switch with volume and tone controls. For hardware this guitar has a traditional boxed steel bridge with 6 individual brass saddles. Tuners are 18:1 ratio sealed back tuners.
Scale length of the instrument is 25.5". Fretboard radius is 9". Width at the nut is 1.69", width at the 12th fret is 2.09". Action at the 12th fret is 4/64ths on the bass side, 4/64ths on the treble side. There are no issues with the neck, truss rod works as it should. The fretwork on this guitar is great, no exposed fret ends, all frets are properly crowned, no dead spots or buzzing anywhere along the neck. Guitar weighs in a 7 lbs, 3, oz.
