Vintage Ludwig 1964 Super Classic Blue Oyster Pearl W Original Supraphonic Snare

Welcome to the auction of this wonderful drum kit, offered with no reserve and a low start price. Ultra rare and collectable factory-matched Chicago Ludwig 1964 Super Classic Set with Original matching Supraphonic snare finished in stunning Oyster Blue Pearl in good original condition. Factory matched kit, bought in 1964 and kept fully together for over 51 years ago.
All serial numbers matching and 5 digits (83550 etc), these beauties came off the same production line as Ringo's '64 Shea Stadium kit to within a couple months. Original '64 Super Classic Ludwig kit in Blue Oyster Pearl finish with original Supraphonic snare. No extra holes, all original parts except for fresh heads. Original white interiors, not repainted in great condition. Bearing edges all in great condition, all heads sit perfectly. All shells in perfect round. All original chrome over brass hoops throughout the kit. All original red felt baseball bat mufflers intact and working 100%. No splitting of the wrap, all seams are 100%. Normal slight dings here and there but absolutely nothing that is out of the ordinary.
Super Classic sizes: 22"x 14" bass drum, 13" Tom, 16" Floor Tom. All original mounts, legs, lugs, tension rods, bass drum hoops. A couple of the bolts on the tom mount have been changed and so has one of the kick drum leg bolts. Chrome over brass shells shine like new. Original Bass drum hoops are in great condition. Original staples are 100% intact as is the pearl inlay. Ludwig 400 Supraphonic 5"x 14" comes with excellent heads top and bottom and new Puresound custom snare wires. Excellent condition, with original cob hoops and red felt baseball bat muffler. Some slight patches where the chrome isn't 100% but overall in lovely condition. Really an extraordinary Ludwig kit from the most desirable year. Also has some cases with it. I would prefer a collection on this kit.
