Extremely rare museum quality antique Scheduler system conical German wooden flute in C by A.E. FISCHER BREMEN No.2344  - complete overhauled. The pads and corks are new. No cracks on the wood or repairs. The flute is ready to play. Excellent intonation, really great strong tone and response. Original pitch - A=432Hz, flute in C, Made of hand selected grenadilla wood, nickel silver keys, ferrules and head, ebonite embouchure and two rollers. Key system: "Schwedler", six open holes, 11 keys, boot to low -B, conical bore, all length -73.3cm., sounding length-65.4cm., head joint -24.3cm., embouchure -12x10mm. Ideal for romantic classical music and Irish session string instruments can tune accordingly, it will sound great. In 1885, Maximilian Schwedler introduced a new model flute with an "improved bore" and innovative trill keys, these were constructed by Carl Kruspe of Leipzig. The center piece (of the three sections) contained six finger holes, like the Tulou flute. The embouchure hole has raised cusps on either side.
