This year it has the Gibson Min-ETune system with a black graph tech nut and Min-ETune truss rod cover. The binding on the neck is undercut fret over binding and has the Max Grip Speed Knobs and Coated strings. The Clear tone coated strings ensure longer string life by protecting strings from corrosion due to skin acidity, salt and moisture without compromising feel or tone. The pickups are open coiled 57 Classic pickups with push/pull coil split on each volume pot. Along with these new features the Les Paul Signature model comes with THE signature. Les Paul"s signature silk screened on the pick guard.
