When this balanced, articulate tone wood is constructed into one of Taylor's most versatile body styles, the Grand Auditorium, the 524ce is capable of having plenty of tonal and visual character. The 524ce has the ability to deliver a punchy midrange with great clarity, allowing for a great sound for playing in a mix with other instruments. The 524ce also offers kind of musical versatility that makes this guitar perfect in a number of different playing scenarios. A venetian cutaway provides you with greater access to the higher registers on the neck.The 524ce employs forward shifted bracing with Taylor's patented Relief Rout, a tone-enhancing voicing technique in which a groove is carved along the inside edges of the top. This groove is similar in function to the re-curve on a violin it loosens up the edges of the top, generating extra flexibility without sacrificing structural integrity.
