The condition is EXCELLENT - you will have a very hard time finding another Imperial Besson of this vintage in better condition!There are a few very minor dings/dents on the instrument. There are no loose joints/braces. The finish is in excellent condition. All of the tuning slides move freely. The valves are in good condition and function well - compression is excellent.This Euphonium plays great with a very warm resonant tone. Response and intonation are excellent. This Euphonium has a large shank receiver.The original case is in good condition - could use a handle. A shoulder strap is installed.The original mouthpiece is included. The instrument looks fairly clean and will not require any immediate servicing.
