Rare old french C ophicleide stamped on the bell GAUTROT BREVETE à PARIS, probably made in 1850.The instrument was fully restored: new pads and springs, the tuning slide is free, 1 screw isn't original. There is a patch on the leadpipe.Seems plays well (for an ophicleide...), there is a small crack on the bell. 10 keys, total lenght is 96 cm, bell diameter 21 cm.Sold without a mouthpiece but no case. For shipping, I send it in a wood box, package is heavy, reason why is expensive.Sold as is, please see all the pics. Please see all the pics and my other items for sale. I can combine shipping.
