**Under the text more hd-pictures**This is a strat plus, if you haven't seen these they are basically Stratocaster deluxes before the deluxe came out. Strat Plus Series was introduced by Fender in 1987 and was the highest end production model next to Fender's Custom Shop guitars. This guitar features 3 lace sensor pickups that sound awesome, Sperzel locking tuners, roller nut and American bridge. The color of this strat looks very unique, I'm not positive if it's rare but I had never seen this color before, I believe it's called black pearl burst, really cool looking guitar. 25 years and it still looks great.it's got some scratches, little dings/dents and that you don't notice unless you're looking for it(pictured). The neck is in great condition. But I think it looks awesome particularly the neck which almost has a 70s looking road worn maple neck. As whole the guitars got a great looking road worn look. It plays great and sounds awesome! I really hate letting this one go it's gonna make someone really happy.

If the name didn't imply, the Fender Strat Plus was originally released in 1987 as an upgraded American Standard Stratocaster, in particular boasting Lace Sensor Gold pickups, locking tuners, a roller nut, and Fender's TBX tone control system. Following soon after in 1989, the Strat Plus Deluxe model offered additional colors and a Red/Silver/Blue set of Lace Senors. If you're looking for a Stratocaster that offers more versatility and tuning stability than an American Standard, a Strat Plus might be the perfect guitar for you.
