This is a Yamaha YHR -561 Double French Horn (serial number 201150). This horn plays very well. It is made from yellow brass with nickel silver accents. The valves move well with good compression and the slides all move of course. As for the aesthetic condition of this horn, there are a few small pings, as well as some light scratching and pitting throughout the horn. All this is visible in the pictures, and none of it affects the playability of the horn. This instrument has been professionally cleaned in our shop, and repaired to full playability. This instrument comes with its original somewhat worn hardshell case and a mouthpiece in good condition.How the horn plays: Warm, mellow and full sound. The horn has a good dynamic range.
