I've owned this strat since around 1993. It is a lovely thing, unique in tone and I'm sad to see it go. I am giving the warts and all description so there should be no suprises It was well used when I acquired it and bar a couple of services I have never sought any real restoration work on it because: 1. I love the tone and sustain on this thing.
2. The Frets are worn quite low but have a great feel when playing. As for the sustain I have played in lots of sessions and people in the room always comment on how long it holds non vibrato notes, harmonics and open strings. This strat holds perfect and I mean perfect tune out of the case for months at a time. This is 100% playable, and very nice with it however it is in need of another service soon. Needs the bridge re-setting at some point. Several of the bridge nuts are E.S.P not Fender. 2 of the nuts are genuine replacement fender nuts. 1 original fender. There is ever so slight fret buzz at fret 12 on the G and again on fret 7 of the A. Genuine Fender Backplate. Original pickups, neck, headnuts No scratchy pots or switches. Jack lead input sometimes requires adjustment but is fine for sessions maybe not live Missing trem wheel no certificate documents Plush Red Genuine Fender Hard plastic Case. Fender Eagle Strap thrown in. Colour "Silver" has aged really nicely into a greeny gold tone Item will be shipped tracked via parcelforce in fender case then outer secure packing.
