I used this system for quite some time on a Mac desktop which quit a couple of months ago. The Capybara 320 itself is fine, powers up, etc. but now I have a Windows laptop with no FireWire, so it's not being used anymore... it needs a new loving home. The Capybara 320 is quite a powerful rig as is, I had a swell time running it alongside my Synclavier system, doing resynthesis and spectral analysis side by side on the two... the goode ole Synclavier would do 24 harmonics, while the Capybara would do 512... see attached photo of the two, playing nice together. My auction includes the working Capybara 320 rack unit, the Flame interface, and Kyma X 6.54. app from which I took the screen shot earlier. (No Synclavier.) From what Kyma told me, there are ways to install the Kyma X software on a Windows PC, but with a FireWire-less PC laptop, I can't really comment on that. For those considering making me an offer on the unit, offers paid before Dec 1 will be given extra weight. I am willing to ship the unit internationally to sellers with at least 10 (positive) ebay feedbacks.
