Gibson Custom Shop ES-5 P90 Natural flame 1997 Gibson ES-5 p90, built in the Gibson Custom Shop at Nashville, Tennessee back in 1997. The Gibson ES-5 was first produced in 1949, as an alternate electric model of the L-5. Intended for jazz players, the ES-5 has three pickups each with it's own volume button and one master tone knob. The P-90 pickups seen in this reissue were replaced in 1957 with the all-new ‘PAF’ humbucking pickup design. Other features include a natural finished laminated figured maple hollow body bound with multiple layered black and white bindings, two bound F-holes, Gold hardware, ABR-1 style tune-o-matic with rosewood base, 5-piece maple neck with bound ebony fretboard, pearl block inlays, gold Gibson Kluson style tuners, 5-layer black pickguard, stinger on the back of the headstock and bound headstock overlay with Gibson and crown inlay. This instrument is in mint condition and travels in it's original hardshell case.Model Features:
