Great Vintage Dean E'Lite for sale. This is exactly what it looks like - A Rock Machine! I've really enjoyed this one over the years but it's time to let someone else enjoy that solid Dimarzio Super Distortion crunch and sustain these guitars produce.Solid Mahogony Body and NeckBound Rosewood FingerboardMatched Zebra DiMarzio Super Distortion Pick UpsGrover Tuners2 Volume, 2 Tone set upOriginal Hard Shell CaseGreat playing and sounding players guitar in Very Good Condition. Nice straight neck and low action with the awesome crunch and sustain you'd expect from this Vintage Tone Monster. Hard to find Cherry Burst finish! Nice Big Series 2 Headstock, Clear date stamp: Made in USA 80 01997. Original everything.... well, except maybe the Knobs. They aren't branded in any way but they sure do look like the "witch hat" knobs used on Gibsons of the period. As Dean states in his "History of Dean" pages, there wasn't much that was "standard" on these models so... who knows, maybe it was ordered that way. There are two spots of finish loss along the back of the neck near the binding. One around the 2nd Fret - lower part of the neck - as shown in the 10th photo, One around the 15th Fret - upper part of the neck. No idea what caused this and it didn't remove the finish down to the wood, but most importantly, you don't feel it. Also, the Cherry Burst finish of this guitar is accentuated in some photos due to lighting conditions to accentuate that aspect of the finish. In lower light conditions the finish appears darker.A few superficial condition issues to mention; There are several nicks (all small) in the headstock... yeah - what a surprise, There is a piece of finish chipped off the rear of the body (visable in photos), Minimal belt rash, There is one small dent in the lower bout near the pickup selector as shown in photos, There is one small dent below the tail piece on the face and a few small bumps below the volume and tone knobs, One Volume knob has a small piece missing. Please email with any questions. Great guitar, tough to let it go. You won't be disappointed.
