This banjo has a peghead repair, Shubb sliding capo removed, along with some wear and tear showing on the resonator, thus the low sale price. If it was in excellent or better condition, I'd be asking $1600-$1700, and I have no doubt that it would bring that much. It has a new USA made Remo head installed. I can also add spikes for the new owner at no additional charge. It will come shipped in a new hard shell case.As many of you probably already know, this is the same model that the great Tom Adams purchased new, and played for many years. These don't come up for sale very often, and with good reason. I seriously doubt that you'll ever find another one in this price range.
