Electronically, this axe sports three EMG pickups. There's an 81X in the bridge and an SAX in the neck and middle positions. This pickup provides increased headroom while maintaining the clarity and response of a typical 81. It'll slice through any mix with ease. This guitar is still going to be playing and sounding great decades down the line.
