The Collector's Choice #35 1959 Les Paul Vic DaPra "Gruhn Burst" is precisely modeled after an original '59 Les Paul, serial number 9 0627, owned by author and avid 'Burst collector Vic DaPra. The original from which this run was taken is in incredible condition as you can see from the photos below, which is as close as possible to an exact copy by True Historic methods. This includes all the hardware, and top and back, the deep dish archtop, the pickups, etc. Collector Vic DaPra was deeply involved in the production of this limited run. The original pickups were tone-matched to a pair of specially-wound Custom Bucker pickups to replicate all the sonic splendor of vintage PAFs found in #9 0627. This is a brand new Gibson Collector's Choice No. 35, VicDapra Gruhn Burst 1959 R9 Standard. List: $14753 MAP: $10499.
