Original Vintage 1966 FENDER CBS STRATOCASTER Black Refinished Body Amazing Tone Bought it from a reputable Californian vintage guitar shop last year, with letter from the owner. Came from the estate of a guitar tech who worked with one of the biggest Rock and Roll band of all time. This is your chance to get a 1966 Strat for the price of a new Custom Shop replica.Original Early 1966 January Neck (not oversprayed, or refinished, straight. tuners replaced, with F tuners and now with Schallers. Beautiful decal, fat neck.)Original 1966 Black Body refinished, long time ago, pickup cavities deepened and finished with graphite. Pickups: original mid-late 1960's staggered pole, with new lead wires. all measured around 5.8k-5.9k. Original pickguard with shield, Original tone pots, changed volume pot, 5 way switch. Changed saddles. Midbooster added. Neck is straight and perfect. Frets look original. Unbelievable tone! It is an amazing players guitar.
