I am offering a pair of racked vintage Fonia KM82 discrete studio equalizer modules manufactured in the 70's and very early by Fonia. FONIA was a company making professional equipment for state broadcasting in Poland only. Sort of Polish equivalent of BBC technical department/Telefunken/Siemens and the likes. They made hi quality stuff only, being very rare these days as most of their older and best products were scrapped when Iron Curtain fell down. KM82 is well designed, handcrafted equalizer with massive transformers, inductors, capacitors and transistors. Those type design produces more physical, better sounding equalization with better phasing than most of the laster designs . Fonia units are still very little known and underrated, so this is your chance to get classy and rare discrete equalizer for relatively small value. It is not possible to make such unit for the same or similar money today. So the fact is sooner or later they will be more expensive. These two units were racked and matching 24V powering was added. So they are fully working, plug and play units. Panorama knob is gain attenuator. See the pictures for other details.
