Description Product Description This Tom Hamilton ASAT bass features a western sugar pine body with a red metal flake finish. The quartersawn maple neck is G&L's modern narrow C shape, and it has a satin light tint finish and a 1 1/2" nut width for a comfortable feel. The fretboard is maple with 21 medium jumbo frets, dot inlays and a 12" radius. This axe's pickups are G&L "Hamiltone" humbuckers, which are slightly punchier than the MFD pickups you'll find on the standard ASAT bass. The tri-tone active/passive switching system is designed to give you plenty of tonal flexibility without sacrificing simplicity. (See below for switching options.)
