Fender Custom Shop 1950's Telecaster Relic in Sunset Orange Transparent w/OHSC
Serial Number R14174This guitar is in on trade and comes with its original hardshell case, certificate of authenticity, guitar strap, guitar cable, polishing cloth and set of Cruz Tools. The guitar is fully functioning and in great shape. It was factory distressed so the aging was intentional. The neck is straight, the frets are still crowned and the truss rod is functioning properly. This Fender Custom Shop 1950's Telecaster Relic was special ordered with 1 piece Ash body. Usually, the Custom Shop uses 2 piece bodies and while there are varying opinions on the subject, I have never heard of anyone considering a 1 piece body a negative. While playing it acoustically, it resonates perfectly. The neck vibrates nicely and the body rings up against your ribs. The neck is made from a quarter sawn piece of maple with a 9.5" radius and 6105 frets. The pickups are a set of Twisted Tele single coils that have a classic meets modern tone, great in all three position for everything from classic country twang to ripping blues to overdriven rock tones.
