This N.O.S. (new old stock) Japan-market '62 reissue alder Fender Japan Fretless Jazz Bass JB62-85FL from 2006-2008 (CIJ serial number S083115) has an alder body and US Fender Vintage Jazz Bass pickups in addition to its marked but unfretted rosewood-board maple neck. The body has no screw holes for a pick guard but a brand-new tortoise-shell pick guard still with its protective film was included by the factory should its new owner choose to install it. This 9 lb (4.1 kg) fretless Jazz Bass is in impeccable, as-new condition, not a mark on it. Its nut width is a hair over 1-1/2 inches.Befitting its pristine condition, it comes with a plush and protective Ritter gig bag (see photo) in the pouch of which will be found the factory pick guard still covered with film and a packet of original tags and paperwork.ABOUT GUITARGAI
