This is a Yamaha professional, heavy-wall trumpet with a deep, rich sound suited for symphonic ensembles. It was purchased new for $2100 in 1997 and currently sells for same. The horn has a number of cosmetic defects that do not affect functionality. Specification: .459 bore4.8" bellAlso included:Yamaha case (original, wood, well-used)K&M trumpet stand Quik Time electric metronomeKorg chromatic tunerBach 3C mouthpieceBach 7C mouthpieceAmati 7C mouthpiece Wright's silver polishStraight metal muteValve lube, slide grease, cleaning brushesMusic books Music books: Voxman, Selected Studies for Cornet or TrumpetGoldman, Practical Studies for the TrumpetLloyd Webber, Best ofCondition notes: * The bell pipe has a number of small dings* The bell has a 1/4" crease and a rough spot on the edge of about 1/8"* The silver casing of the second valve has a 1/4" wear mark * The joints attached to the lead pipe and the bell have been resoldered. The work was done professionally, but some solder is visible. * The short 2nd-valve pipe is stuck. There's nothing physically wrong with it. I suspect penetrating lubricant applied overnight would allow it to be pulled out. These defects are not apparent from more than a few feet away. However, please examine the pictures to ensure that the condition meets your expectation. I can provide more on request.I've cleaned, polished, and lubricated the exposed surfaces of the horn and piped the remainder. The valves and slides work as expected and it has a wonderful sound. It's ready for someone who can put it to better use than I can. Video:I show the horn from various angles and test the valves and slides.
