This is a fine example of a 2015 Gibson Les Paul Traditional, a controversial year for Gibson (Is there one that isn't?), but a brillaint guitar despite what the nay-sayers might utter. Like any Gibbo from any year, you've just got to find the good ones. This guitar has been played solidly live, at home and in the studio for almost two years, by myself, a working professional musician. I made a few changes to the instrument that I felt were improvements to it's functionality, though I have all the original parts should a new owner decide to revert to stock. I changed out the pickups to a matched set of Seymour Duncans' excellent SH-1 '59's. They really give the guitar a wailing lead voice, and some huge rhythm tones that can turn down nicely to those vintage cleans we all love from Gibson guitars. It'll also do a wonderful jazz tone, but I'll be damned if I know how to jazz. The G-Force system has been removed and replaced with Kluson tuners, I found G-Force was a great idea that worked great for recording, but less well for live applications, as it kept slipping, and Les Pauls are buggers for that anyway. The new tuners hold up just fine. I still have the system, and am including it in the sale for no extra charge. I am also including the Hiscox Case it stays in, and it is in very good condition. I do have the original '59 Tribute pickups that came with the guitar, though it should be noted that while they sound awesome, the bridge pickup was slightly microphonic, and hence the change. If a new owner wants them to get them re-potted (or not, if you're hardcore vintage), I will provide them. I also have all the proper case candy and tools. Thanks for looking, and I hope you find what you're looking for, if you would like to demo the instrument, you are most welcome to. Postage can possibly be arranged, though collection and a demo is preferred. Please ask any questions you might have.
