Hello and Welcome,Today I have an awesome 1986 Fender Stratocaster in 3 tone sunburst.The instrument was played quite a bit ( for all the good reasons but never abused and it shows.
The finish of the neck has been sanded for a smooth and hang up free.It is very close to an original instrument. One of the tuner was replaced with one from the same era and one tone pot was replaced also.
Pickups are pretty hot but not excessively and read 6.3 Kohms...Now what make this guitar unique is in the neck
This baby not only features a quarter sawn neck but it also has a quarter sawn Indian Rosewood fingerboard which is rare; this guitar was custom ordered for sure...!
And a 9.5" radius!!!!
There you have it...back to the vintage sound without the price tag and an investment on its own.
