1959 Hofner Club 60 with Bigsby. Amazing , great action, original Selmer case

1959 Hofner Club 60 with Bigsby. Amazing condition, great action, original Selmer case This guitar is in amazing condition. The electrics still work correctly. The action is a sensible height. The binding is all in the right place. There’s no lacquer cracking on the headstock. All of the Mother-of-Pearl neck inlays are there and well located. The front of the body and the sides are barely marked. Oh…. And …. It is sold with the original Selmer case! Whether you collect or play, this is probably THE one to have. The early Club 60’s are beautiful, and they come with the two pickups. This one retains the original rounded black pickups. What sets it apart? It is fitted with an original Bigsby in polished aluminium, to match the bridge. Other comments on condition: I’ve added a replacement period Hofner control knob but it doesn’t match the original one. The back has a glued-on felt pad. Presumably to prevent buckle rash. The back has some buckle rash but you have to hold it up to the light. It is there though and it’s part of this guitar’s history. The original tuners all work well and this guitar even has the 2 original leather strap fastenings. Considering this guitar is exceptional and comes with so many original features and period extras, I’m not asking a lot for it. If you’ve been after a Hofner Club model, then this is the one to treat yourself to. Note: The stand in the images is not included in the sale Buy With Confidence.
