1973 player's jazz bass. Original neck, body, tuners, pickups, 2/3 pots. Replacement bridge, thumbrest, 1/3 pots, bridge, refinished Surf Green with a slight pearl in the clear coat. This bass was once converted to an active bass with Sadowsky pickups and preamps, and had a battery compartment and extra side-jack routed into the body. The original pickups and electronics have been restored to it, and the side jack hole has been filled, and coloured, but is still noticeable. The battery compartment (under pick guard, no hole in back) is still there. There are shims professionally installed to make the neck sit perfectly in the pocket. The truss rod turns freely. The neck is straight and feels great. The frets are jumbo. Some dings in the body. All have been filled with colour, but many are still visible. A great players bass, with some vintage mojo, and that killer colour.
