Description
**will ship overseas but please get in touch with me first to discuss shipping cost ** Amazing sounding all tube mic preamp and the best direct bass recording sound with a passive bass that I have heard. No other pre sounds like this one with a microphone either and I have tried nearly everything. It has a very open mid range but the top is a bit subdued- making other preamps sound pointy, tinny thin and narrow in comparison on some sources. Has an open old school feel to the sound as In 40's. 6267,5963 (or any 12ay7,at7) per channel. One 6x4 for rectifier tube Has phase reverse and pad per channel. No phantom. Comes with 2 very lightly used NOS 6084 with gold pins and a spare 6267 along of course with the tubes already in it. I built the rustic cedar casing for it as the preamp was shipped without casing to me. It isn't a perfect casing, but it looks pretty good. Hand made by someone using vintage components for mojo and new caps etc. He was selling them a couple years ago for 999 USD. Any questions please ask.
