Dean's 2008 reissue of Rik Emmett's Flying V guitar! Made famous on the cover of 1981's Allied Forces and the subsequent tour, Dean made 100 of these around the time of Triumph's reunion shows. Each are individually signed and numbered by Rik, this one being number 31 of the group. It features a mahogany body and set neck, with black binding on the headstock and body. 24 and 3/4 scale and 24 frets with a ebony wood fretboard, mother of pearl block inlays, and Grover tuners, as well as Dean's classic V shaped neck contour. A single DiMarzio Super Distortion and volume control as well as the input jack at the top of the guitar body rather than the bottom make this a true "Rock and Roll Machine!" The winner of this auction will also receive the original hardshell case, as well as a Certificate of Authenticity and autographed 8x10 of Rik.It's in like new condition, only ever kept in it's case or in a display case on my wall. I have only played it sparingly, and never changed anything from it's factory configuration. It has never even been restrung. It has been an honor owning this guitar and I hope to pass that honor on to you!
