This is a used but fully (and wonderfully) functioning VK-8. Some "character" here and there (minor scratches from use) on the wood casing, but no other issues. The action on this board is fantastic. It's responsive, lively, and smooth. If you know anything about this board, you know that people tend to hang onto it even though newer clonewheels are out now. For those who hold onto it, it's all because of the action. Did I mention how great this board feels? Go try one, you'll see.Organ sounds are great, drawbars feel wonderful. Built-in Leslie-sim was first-rate for its time, but of course a few years have gone by, so if you're a purist, you'll want to run it through a Vent or Leslie. Has a really soulful old-school sound. Some additional sounds on-board--piano, EP, that wacky vocal stuff, brass, synth, and some others. Depending on your gigs, this can function as your only board. If you don't know this board, troll the keyboard forums and you'll find lots of stuff about it. And if you do, you know I'm pricing it nicely. Either way, and I say this as a friend, you should buy this. It's a legendary organ clone that sounds sweet, looks great onstage, and did I mention the action?Happy to trade-off in person in SoCal to save shipping.
