Fender Stratocaster Custom Shop Masterbuilt 50th Anniversary 1954 2004Built by Masterbuilder Chris Flemming at the Fender Custom Shop for Fender's 50th Anniversary at 2004.An exact replica of a real vintage 1954 Stratocaster.
Same woods, specs, plastics.
Even the tools used to built this guitar are the same tools that Fender used back in the day.The guitar features a perfect 2 tone sunburst, it is really anaing and more beautiful in reality. It has a "Closet Classic" finish, with beautiful checkings. It is in great condition, only modification made is adding a touch of nitro to the back of the neck.Neck is super comfortable U shape, not too big, VERY similar to an original 1954 that I had the luck to try. They really did great job with this one.
It is very light (around 7.1) and resonant.
Sounds amazing, has that perfect sweet Fender Stratocaster tone.
Setup and intonation are spot on.Including original case, COA and case candy.Please feel free to contact me with every question.Thanks for looking!
