One of the best pre designs out there, these John Hardy's have been tenderly loved in my smoke free studio. A touch of rash from reracking, missing pointed on Pre#2, and a wingding as well. None of these cosmetic issues affect the sound quality. Origionally purchased by me, new, thru now defunct Mercenary Audio. This unit contains both input and output transformers.
