This is a very rare Levinson Blade made in Switzerland in 1993. This model was run for one year only (1993) under the title Levinson Blade "The Panama Red Series". The neck on this guitar is really nice, smooth and fast. Its has 2 Levinson Blade SC pick ups in the neck and middle position and 1 Levinson Blade humbucker in the bridge. The 2nd tone control also acts as a push in mid boost, which sounds very nice engaged. All parts are original apart from the trem arm, which when i bought it, it came with a white trem which i replaced with a black one. Overall condition is pretty good for the age. There is some buckle rash and some minor surface scratches. there is the odd ding here and there but none have chipped the paint or show any wood underneath but these in no way effects the guitars playability. Frets are good and has recently been set up, frets levelled and dressed by Andy Warnock Anyone whos played a Blade will know that the playability and versatility of these guitars, far surpasses most Fender Strats. And it really is a lovely guitar to play and look at. The blue allows the grain of the wood underneath too come through really nicely. Collection only and cash on collection prefered.
