VINTAGE 1979 Gibson RD Artist Electric Guitar (049)
Physical ConditionThis guitar is a super cool vintage piece with it's fair share of scratches, dings, and general wear. On the body, there is an area near the controls along the corner of the front and back of the body that seem to have taken a bump at some point, but no structural damage is present; just some small dents and flaking finish. There is some light buckle rash on the back. Otherwise, there are a handful of stray, light dings and scratches over the body, typical of a vintage piece that has been played regularly. The back of the neck also has a few LIGHT dings here and there, as well as some thinning finish in the first position and running down along the edges of the fingerboard. The headstock also has a few light dents and dings, but has never been broken or cracked. The tuning keys, pickup covers, and bridge all show heavier tarnishing from continuous use. Basically, this guitar only shows wear typical of a vintage guitar that has been played regularly. This is a SUPER cool vintage Gibson and with only a little love, would be a SMOKING player!
FretwearFrets seem original, and do show some light wear. Low and flat like many Gibson guitars from this era. Great player!
