There are misc. scratches and minor wear, the genuine silver protects the body.Pads are not new but are in very good condition, and the horn plays well.Sax has a custom thumb piece ring to make playing more secure & comfortable.You should maintain this almost 86 year old collector's sax properly and keep it in a cool, dry place, clean after playing, polish the silver, check your instrument and oil the springs every so often.
