This is a rare, custom built 1930's model 4 row, 4 reed (MMMH) diatonic Slovenian style button box accordion made in Cleveland by John Mikus. It is in excellent condition inside and out and has been fully professionally restored, tuned, and overhauled. It is in the keys of G,C,F,Bb and has the classic Cleveland style sound - very loud and powerful. It has 50 treble buttons on a stepped German keyboard with standing tones (gleichtons) in the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th rows. It has a beautiful light green sparkle celluloid exterior with floral decorations. There are 2 register switches for playing in either 3 or 4 reeds. The bass side is very unique for an instrument of this vintage. . . It has 8 helikon basses instead of the usuay 7. Each bass button functions independently and produces their own tones (none are connected internally). Even the bass reed block configuration is different than most of these types of instruments. Basses are very loud, deep and responsive. Bellows are in very good condition. Dimensions are approximately 18 1/4" X 7 1/4" and weighs approximately 18.5 lbs. Has a thumb air bar and a internal mics installed for amplification capabilities. Comes with shoulder straps, adjustable bass strap, leather bellows straps, a bellows pad, and carrying case - all in good condition. This is a real rare and unusual collector's instrument in amazing, fully restored condition. You won't be disappointed in this box! Feel free to ask any further questions prior to bidding/buying, as sale if final. The instrument is described honestly and accurately. Free shipping. * * * Reduced price if purchased directly * * *
